As part of the OneClickRENO project, a new deliverable focused on the crucial link between specific professional skills requirements and Energy Conservation Measures (ECMs) in Building Renovation Passports (BRPs) has been released. This step is essential to ensuring that building owners can identify the right professionals to execute renovation measures effectively. By aligning the skills of craftsmen with European and internationally recognised standards, the deliverable supports high-quality renovations while addressing country-specific contexts.

Last week in Rotterdam, we held our third stakeholder workshop, a significant milestone in the project, as only one more remains to complete the deployment of the ad-hoc engagement methodology. These sessions are a great opportunity to gather insights from key stakeholders in the renovation field. Their contributions will play a crucial role in finalising the development of the Building Renovation Passport that the project is currently working on.

On November 15th, the second One Click Reno co-creation workshop took place in Dublin, Ireland, led by Ideas for Change. Hosted by IHER Energy Services and Gamma, the workshop gathered 13 key stakeholders from Dublin’s building renovation ecosystem, including professionals from the financial sector, government, real estate, energy offices, and insurance companies.

Two weeks ago, the consortium gathered in Dublin for the project's third General Assembly, marking a milestone in its journey. Over two days, partners presented the work completed during the first year and collaborated in person to advance critical aspects of the future BRP through interactive working sessions.

One Click Reno and its partner Certimac recently attended the Advanced Building Skins Conference & Expo 2024 in Bern, Switzerland, to stay at the forefront of building technology and innovation. This premier international event provided invaluable insights into the latest advancements in sustainable building practices, aligning perfectly with One Click Reno's mission to accelerate the transition towards a zero-emission building stock.

On October 1, San Sebastian hosted the event “Let’s Activate the Renovation of Housing Blocks in the Basque Country,” organized by the International Union of Property Owners (UIPI). This gathering brought together 18 leading experts in building renovation, including representatives from local urban chambers, architects, and other relevant stakeholders. The event served as a platform to present several European projects aimed at enhancing the energy efficiency of residential buildings. Among these initiatives, the OneClickRENO Project stood out, showcasing its innovative solutions for deep renovation of buildings through the use of Building Renovation Passports (BRP).

On September 16th, the first co-creation pilot workshop took place in Valencia. This event marks the beginning of a series of five workshops that will be held across the project's pilot countries: Ireland, Spain, The Netherlands, Italy, and Greece.

Led by Ideas for Change, the goal of these co-creation sessions is to gather first-hand insights from professionals in the building renovation sector. By applying the Pentagrowth methodology, we encourage participants to envision the future of their industry and identify the actions that need to be taken today to create a thriving and sustainable future.

We are excited to announce that One Click Reno will be contributing at the upcoming Sustainable Places 2024 conference, taking place from September 23-25, 2024 in Luxembourg. The project team will be part of the Industrialization of building’s envelope Workshop, under the specific topic: “Navigating the Shades of Industrialized Deep Energy Retrofit: Strategies for a Sustainable EU Building Stock.”

UIPI, one of our project partners, has developed the "Property Owners’ Perspective and Experience on Building Renovation" survey. This survey aims to design BRPs that are more tailored to the specific needs and concerns of private owners in Europe, promoting sustainable and efficient building renovations.

The OneClickRENO (OCR) project has released its Report on Pilot Markets Activities, detailing the methodological approach designed to demonstrate the effectiveness of staged renovations in five pilot markets across Europe.

The second General Assembly of the One Click Reno project took place on April 10th and 11th in Vienna.
